Thank you to all those who have provided feedback on the Issues and Opportunities Paper through the various engagement channels available. All community and stakeholder input will now be collated and reported to Council in two months. This report will inform the drafting of the new Neighbourhood Plan.

The Maribyrnong City Council is developing a neighbourhood plan to guide future planning and investment in West Footscray.

In 2008, the initial West Footscray Urban Design Framework presented a vision, guidelines and implementation plans to improve the quality and function of key public and private spaces across West Footscray.

A number of exciting changes in West Footscray over the last 10 years have made the development of a new framework an imperative.

Council is keen to hear if we have covered the main issues and opportunities present in the area. You can also see the draft guiding principles based on community input and we would like to hear if these resonate with you.
