    The Melbourne War Memorial Committee has worked with Council to prepare draft concept plans for the Korean War Memorial to be located at Quarry Park.

    Council is setting up the Reconciliation Action Plan Advisory Committee to support the development of a Reconciliation Action Plan for the municipality. We are seeking individuals to help steer this process and assist in the design of the plan.

    The Maribyrnong River is a prized natural asset to our community and attracts visitors from across Melbourne with its rolling parklands, picnic spots, meandering riverside bike paths and formal gardens such as Footscray Park.

    Following community consultation, Council has produced the Footscray Promenade Concept Plan to maximise the River’s edge potential. Click here to see details on the design and info session next Wednesday 20 September.
