    Thank you to all those who have completed the survey to assist in developing the draft masterplan. Keep an eye out for the draft in late September.

    In line with the recommendations of the Maribyrnong Open Space Strategy and the Play Maribyrnong Strategy Council is developing a Masterplan to guide future development at Hansen Reserve, West Footscray. The Masterplan will include a major upgrade to the playground and other park and open space improvements.

  • Braybrook Park getting ready for take off...

    Construction of the new playground at Braybrook Park is getting closer. The project has now gone through detailed design and the play equipment is being built.

    The landscape works will start on site in July 2017.

    The playground will take approximately 16 weeks to build.

    The opening is planned for October 2017.

    Look out for future updates here and at the Braybrook Hub.

    We often take human rights like freedom, respect, equality and dignity for granted but Council is ensuring that these rights and social justice issues are embedded in our work through the development of the Human Rights and Social Justice Framework 2017-21.

    Thank you for the considered feed back we received on this one. The consultation period on the draft framework has now closed and Council officers are working on the final document.
